Courtney is passionate about financial education which is the core of her identity. Through her work over the years in the financial industry, she has helped individuals gain confidence in their financial decision-making. No financial situation is perfect, and it will not happen overnight, but she can help you take the necessary steps to improve current situation, teach and give you tools on how to make informed decisions for your financial future.

Courtney's career began in luxury goods working with Coach Leatherwear, an opportunity that brought her to the Washington, DC, area in 2007. Looking for a career move and work-life balance, she went into the banking industry with Wells Fargo Bank as a Bank Manager. In 2017, Courtney was promoted to the corporate side of the bank as a Program Manager - teaching financial education on behalf of Wells Fargo for the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Courtney later took on learning & development roles - leading the Net Promoter System (NPS) and Medallia navigation for branch, district management, and executive leadership within the bank. In 2020, Courtney transitioned to the mortgage industry as an Operations Manager for Better.com Mortgage. At Better, she lead a team of 15 mortgage processors in the Operations area of the organization out of the Charlotte Office.

Courtney currently serves as a leader in a customer-centric role, as the Customer Experience Manager for Freewheel (a subsidiary of Comcast). She oversees the end-to-end management of FreeWheel's cNPS across supply and buy-side clients.

In addition to her financial industry expertise, she completed her Masters of Science in Management with a specialization in Nonprofit/Association Management. Additionally, she has Certifications in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in the Workplace, HR Potholes in a Hybrid Workforce, Inclusion & Ethical Leadership, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the University of South Florida; Principles of Management from John's Hopkins University, and Nonprofit Board Pipeline Certificate from Associated Black Charities.
A committed community advocate, Courtney is a Advisory Board Member of the Footprints Scholarship Fund, a 501(c)3 component fund of the Greater Washington Community Foundation (GWCF). The initiative has raised more than $150,000 in support of access to post-secondary education for high school students who have lost a biological parent between the ages of 0-19.
She is a past founding board member for the Wells Fargo Women's Team Member Network -Maryland Chapter, past- Chair for the Black/African American Team Member Network- Maryland Chapter, and past Advisor for the Culture Council at Better Mortgage- Charlotte, NC.
Courtney is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated - Petersburg Alumnae Chapter, the Black Employee Network (BEN), and an Ally with OUT ERG groups.
